The 12mil fiber-reinforced encapsulation is a type of crawlspace waterproofing system that is designed to correct and prevent water intrusion into a home's crawlspace. The encapsulation involves the use of a thick layer of reinforced polyethylene plastic sheeting that is installed over the walls, floors and pillars of the crawlspace.

The polyethylene sheeting is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) material that is strong and durable.
